Chris has long told me a story about how when he was a child and there was a massive snowfall in the Netherlands one evening. Despite his efforts to convince her, his mom wouldn’t let him go outside to play in it said that he could go in the morning instead. Chris complained that the snow would be gone in the morning,  but still he was not allowed out. Sure enough, morning came and the snow was gone, Chris, not having had the chance to play in it.

Because of this experience, Chris has always said that if it snows here, no matter what, the kids can go out and play in it. So at 6:30am yesterday morning, I was in the garage in my pjs digging out snow gear. They had a blast! Of course!
