I think that I have to go back to March to get it all in. There has been so much going on here that I haven’t had 5 minutes to even think about posting an update.
Back in March, Brenda brought Izzy and Oli out for a visit during spring break. We had an amazing time all together as I had taken the week off so that we could enjoy the city. The weather was truly spectacular and we were able to really spend a lot of time outside with the kids. Here is the list of what we did:
- Viisted the Vancouver Aquarium
- Walked along the water to Kitsilano beach
- Ate sushi!
- Brenda, Andrea and I went out for a girl’s night
- Went shopping on 4th Avenue
- Got Ineke’s ear’s pierced
- Coloured easter eggs
- Granville Island
- Whistler for a day
Phew, Can’t believe we got everything into a week! In between there was lots of relaxing, impromptu visits to the park and LOTS of gin and yummy wine! Sorry Aaron 😦
There were so many highlights of the trip and I don’t have the time to describe them, but I’ll be sure to make some great photo pages and I’ll post when I can. It was such a treat to have family here and for the cousins to spend time together!
One highlight was watching Izzy and Ineke play together. They spent a lot of time taking photos and video with Izzy’s iPod and at the end of the trip, I was absolutely amazed at what they did. Izzy had used iMovie to put together a whole video. It is simply brilliant!
