No, we aren’t going to be here for Halloween and we really don’t have a need for 4 pumpkins, but I felt compelled to drag the kids and Chris to the pumpkin patch for an annual romp through the mud on Monday. Actually, I really enjoyed it and I’m pretty sure that the kids had fun too. It is an activity that I don’t remember doing as a kid, but I think that it is great to get outside, go for a hay ride while listening to corny banjo music, eat fresh sweet apples, and search around the muddy field for pumpkins. We found four perfect pumpkins and Chris dragged them home for us. I’m not sure that we will have time to decorate them before we go away, but at least we had fun finding them.
