We enjoyed a spectactular start to spring break with a trip to Galiano Island. The men stayed for the weekend and then returned Sunday evening, leaving Tara and I with the kids for Monday. Sue, Benjamin, and Samuel came over for Monday. We have finally gotten to the point where the kids can play pretty much unsupervised which means that we actually get a chance to relax a bit also. They spent hours digging on the beach, exploring the tidepools for baby sea animals and climbing on the rocks. Poor Ella has a broken leg (from skiing), but we managed to wheel her arond in a stroller so that she could have as much fun as everyone else!

The mornings were very frosty, but as soon as the glorious sun came out, we were reminded that spring is just around the corner!
